“Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win.”
– Stephen King
Based on the classic, horror novel by Stephen King, the film adaptations of IT center around a close group of seven friends, known as the Losers Club, investigating the disappearance of George Denbrough, the leader’s little brother.
As the story unravels, the group slowly realizes Derry, Maine is not the quaint, small town it resembled, hosting a shape-shifting monster that feeds on fear. Already battling individual hardships, the Lucky Seven embark on a battle against evil, hoping to find Georgie and end the horrific, bloodstained reign of Pennywise.
